Honeywell Filter
Honeywell Filter
I hate allergies and dusting. I need help.?
I have really bad allergies and I live in a dusty area. I have really been looking into getting an air purifer for my room to help but I can't decide which one to get. I like the Ionic Breeze and a Honeywell one with a Hepa filter. I would also like to know if they can get rid of dust too because I hate dusting because I have a lot of places to dust and its really annoying.
Honeywell is very expensive and the filters must be continually changed, also expensive.
The best air purifier is called Venta. It is a German design, available at Ace Hardware.
You might find it online somewhere by Googling Venta Air Purifier.
Instead of buying expensive flters, you just empty the water out and put clean water in according to the instructions.
Costs WAY LESS than Honeywell too.
Lots of dust, eh? Do you live in Colorado?
New Mexico?
Make sure you change the filter on your forced air central heating furnace. Target or Home Depot, or WalMart should have filters rated strong at trapping small allergen particles.
That will reduce dust in your house.
You may profit from having your ventilation ducts professionally cleaned. An old house might have lots of crud in these, some always finding its way out. Price for this is 150--300 dollars for a house.
Your allegies will stay worked up while your house is dusty.
So, someone will have to tackle the remaining dust with vacuum, wiping ledges and sills, picture frames, etc.
Sealing cracks in walls wlll also help.
I hope you do not live in Texas.
At WalMart you can also get Web Vent Filters. These are electostatic register filters. Something you can do very cheaply for $4 right now to keep dust from coming out of the ducts.
Floor registers are the worst for allergies. Cat hairs and other stuff falling in these. Use the filters there too.
If other people lived in house previous to you, there is no telling what might be in ducts -- Doberman hair, mice droppings, floor dirt....
Cleaning a boon when you can afford it (for the heating ducts).
I've had the severe allergy problem for 40 years, so this advice is the creme de la creme.
Kaz Honeywell HepaClean HHT-011 Air Purifier - Breathe Pure
I have always been a health-conscious person and in that regard the Kaz Honeywell HepaClean HHT-011 Air Purifier has served me well. My doctor had been using it for some time, and it was he who recommended it to me. This Hepa air purifier is best suited for small-sized rooms and will be perfect for the nursery, bedroom, kitchen, office, or den. It is a compact home appliance and can be kept on a table or floor or anywhere else. Another handy feature is that it can be placed either vertically or horizontally according to your convenience.
Three-stage Cleaning System
This HepaClean compact air purifier has a 3-stage filtration system. In the first stage a washable pre-filter captures large airborne particles in the air. In the next stage this air is passed through a permanent HEPA-Type filter, which removes 99% of microscopic particles such as mold spores, pollen, pet dander, smoke, and dust. Finally, this filtered air goes through an ionizer field for extra cleaning and air freshening.
Easy to Use and Maintain
The Honeywell HHT-011 Hepa Air Purifier has an illuminated control panel for ease of operation. This model comes with 3 cleaning power selections and an electronic filter clean indicator to remind you when it’s time to clean the filter. (Ideally, it should be cleaned four times a year.) I found the cleaning process simple as well. These Honeywell air cleaners come with a permanent Hepa Air purifier that saves you the effort of replacing it.
The HepaClean Compact Air Purifier meets the strict room air cleaning standards set by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers. If you want a healthy environment in your room then this is one home appliance that you should own for sure. This Hepa air purifier has an efficient cleaning system in place and a reasonable price to go with it.
